In 2023, Goodyear won the Auto Bild Top Manufacturer award for the second year running. It is consistently recognised as one of the world’s leading tyre brands, and this reputation extends beyond regular passenger tyres; Goodyear is also the most successful Formula One tyre supplier in history. It owns several other brands, including Cooper Tires, Dunlop and Kelly Tires. 

Goodyear tyres come with a five-year warranty from the date of purchase, and they are used as original equipment by several car manufacturers, including BMW, Mercedes and Audi. Some unique tyre features include SmartWear, which reveals new grooves in the rubber over time, and SoundComfort Technology, which reduces cabin noise by up to 50%.

Many of Goodyear’s tyres perform exceptionally well on wet roads, beating rivals by Bridgestone, although they typically cost more. The EfficientGrip Performance 2 is an excellent example - it is a high-mileage summer touring tyre notable for its reliable traction on wet and dry roads. In 2022, it won Summer Tyre of the Year at the WhatTyre Tyre of the Year Awards.
